Finally, after weeks of intense preparation, the Executive Committee meeting of the NCCP was held April 23-24. Below is a video during the Opening Worship where the participants loosened up while doing the Christian macarena.

Walkway: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross

A couple of friends and I went to Bonifacio High Street yesterday morning to see the installation art exhibit of the group Church Simplified. It is a 14 interactive stations that are based on the gospel accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John set up throughout the mall grounds. A wonderful Easter experience.

60th Easter Sunrise Service

Everyone's invited to attend the Easter Sunrise Service of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines to be held of April 12, 2009 from 5am to around 7 am at the Open Air Auditorun of the Luneta Park in Manila. This year's theme is "Kristong Buhay, Kakapit-bisig ng Sambayanan. Bishop Nathanael P. Lazaro of the IEMELIF church is this year's speaker.

Birthdays

During the Birthday Celebration of Padirex last Wednesday. The office staff and friends had a break from the office rush. The food prepared by Ate Ofie and Ate Geneal was, as always, a gastronomic delight!

My Mother's Garden

This is one of the aromatic flowers in my mother's garden. I usually see and smell its white florets bloom during the early evening and early morning of January.

First time blogger

It took me a while to decide if I will create a blog of my own. For one, I'm not really a writer. Although I'm more eloquent than most, my problem is putting my thoughts into the written word. Second, was web access. This was solved by the new gadget I bought. More on this later. Third is time, but since I already started, I'll make time!

As for the blog name, my original thought was "ian's life in random" since this blog will be about me and the random things I do. But I saw a blog with an almost the same title so I junked the idea. Looking for another word for random I came across the word indiscriminate meaning:

Unselective - making no careful distinctions or choices (on the posts that will be seen here)

Haphazardly random - random, haphazard, or confused (a perfect description of my office desk! lol!)

I also liked how it sounded with my name :)
