welcoming the rain

The weather forcasters has been saying its going to rain in the metro for two days now and we've seen it in the news, but in my place of work it was still dry as a bone... until now when it started drizzling enough to get the plants and the pavement wet.

It was a welcome sight. It also lowered the scorching temperature considerably so I get the feeling that the pedestrians don't mind getting a little wet.

I hope and pray it rains more and soon.

Cuddles

This lady is one of my two felines in the house. She's a tri-color and a beauty. A sure-footed and graceful ballerina. But what I like most about her is her fondness for cuddling!

Lilet's Coke commercial

I was in the shoot of this commercial along with the rest of the UPIS student population at that time. I remember this because the director stopped the shoot to berrate a group of kids who jumped a ledge instead of going down the steps. I was one of them and was singled out because i was wearing a multicolored shirt. It was very embarrasing! hahaha

This is our new batch shirt logo designed by Hoche. I love it and I ordered the two available colors, white and maroon. Excited na ko! hehehe

Ecumenical Breakfast Fellowship

This Breakfast fellowship for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2010 was held at the Philippine Bible Society bldg. along U.N. Avenue in Ermita, Manila last Saturday February 6.

Teatro Shema (top) of theater group of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines Cubao and the Union Theological Seminary Choir (below) are shown here rehearsing before the program started. I'll post the videos of their performances as soon as I finish editing them.

I also met some new friends with similar hobbies.

Although the event was well attended by the bishops and personalities of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP), the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines' side of the fence lacked the regular luminaries. Being a Catholic I found it very disappointing that my bishops are a no show.
