The 'no smoking in public places' rule will be strictly implemented

Good for everyone! It's about time, but again this only shows the 'ningas-kugon' attitude of many of Filipinos. This law has been in effect for years and yet it will be 'strictly implemented' only starting this June 2011? This says a lot about the law-implementing capabilities of our police force and related agencies. Other good laws suffer the same fate, I really wish that our people in the government and everyone else for that matter will have the political will to obey and uphold our laws.

Iced coffee!

It is getting warm in my kitchen and i did not want the usual coffee, juice or tap. My solution is Iced Coffee! Want Some?

Bonsai

This is where I went to cool off last night but the unavoidable crowded surroundings did little to remove the scowl off my face. Good thing I decided to go and visit the Sky Garden to behold the ongoing bonsai gallery! All those green and excellent works of art truly calmed my spirit.

Change

I have been wearing a scowl for the past week and today is no exception. I think it's because I'm too kind, too forgiving, too accommodating.

There is something with this personality of mine that people seem to think it is OK to ignore me. 'ok lang yan kay Ian' 'si Ian lang naman yan' 'don't mind it Ian will understand' That has to change and as they say change has to start with oneself so friends beware bwahahaha!

Hahahaha that did not sound like me at all but I like it!

Road peeves

Pedicabs hogging the road. I have nothing against people trying to make an honest living like these pedicab drivers, but my peeve stems from them hogging the road like the photo below. These results in blocked traffic and vehicles like the bus on the photo being forced to unload passengers in the middle of the road.

I have also been a victim of one of these when one pedicab suddenly counter flowed along the service road of the EDSA-Quezon Avenue intersection resulting in my bicycle colliding head on. Luckily that time, my only injury was a sprained ankle.

My dentist appointment

The waiting is the killer... photos I took this afternoon while waiting for turn my on the dentist chair... and trying not to bolt out the door! hahaha

Haircut

After two years and five months and today's unbearable heat, I finally decided to lose my long locks!

As a child I always had a short hair cut but grew it long for the experience and the dare that I can. But I definitely will not miss the long shampoos, the hair blowing on my face, the smell of sweaty hair, and my hair getting pulled and caught in all sorts of places!
