Romy Dinglas sings A Cross for A Crown
Ama ng Papuri Romy Dinglas was the main guest in the February 21, 2010 Gospel Jam. It was a reunion of sorts for the Papuri members, a night of sharing stories, rekindling friendships and good music. This is the first song that Kuya Romy shared.
Cathy Amaca sings In The Morning
More beautiful music from Cathy Amaca. This is the third of four songs she sang during the Gospel Jam last February 21, 2010.

Free the 43 Health Workers

Below is a video and photo collage of the gathering outside the Commission on Human Rights building along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City last March 18, 2010 during the hearing the Commission held for the continuous detention of the 43 health workers in Camp Capinpin. I could not decide on what music to add to the collage for more drama. In the end I chose not to add anything. My own silent protest.
a collage in black and white can be viewed in the NCCP Library blog

welcoming the rain
The weather forcasters has been saying its going to rain in the metro for two days now and we've seen it in the news, but in my place of work it was still dry as a bone... until now when it started drizzling enough to get the plants and the pavement wet.

It was a welcome sight. It also lowered the scorching temperature considerably so I get the feeling that the pedestrians don't mind getting a little wet.

I hope and pray it rains more and soon.
