Twister in UP Diliman
A Twister Struck UP Diliman around 10 in the morning yesterday June 4, 2009. Made me panic when I heard about it this evening. I was relieved and thankful when I called my sister and she told me that it was not in our area although a friend's house was damaged. Check out the articles from the Inquirer and the Manila Bulletin.

Lights Out!
The problem with an office without generators is that unexpected power outages means data loss. At around 12 noon I lost 30 minutes worth of work due to a broken power cable? near our office. To Meralco's credit they were quick to respond and power was restored after 45 minutes.

But this is the second time this week! Yesterday, the broken power lines was along Quezon Ave corner EDSA which I was told started 11pm of June 1 until around 9am of June 2.

My Mother's Garden
The first three photos are flowers from church which Nanay brought home. They did look good in her garden.

I like the photo below. The flower itself is not perfect with one of its petals damaged but the water droplets from the afternoon rain really highlighted its beauty even with its imperfection.

I like this plant with its white stripes. Makes any drab corner come to life.

Junjun's birthday
Celebrating the 18th birthday of Junjun, our new assistant from Palawan, last May 26. This is his first time here in Manila and we wanted to make him feel very much welcome!
